It is my deepest regret to have to post this notification.
The 2007 Singapore Invitational Challenge 3 for 10th scale 190mm electric powered International Scale Touring Cars is CANCELLED.
First off, we would like to thank all our supporters, who have been consistently supporting us for this event. However, with the response we have received to this day, it is just not possible to carry on.
Special thanks to our sponsors and our overseas guests who have previously made plans to support our event. Please accept our sincere apologies.
We have news that the 2008 iFMAR EP Touring could be held in Thailand, so I would expect the the 2008 FEMCA Touring would be held in conjunction with the Pre-World event. Therefore, a 2008 Challenge 3 would not be appropriate.
There has been recent interest in 10th Scale EP Off-Road. We will plan for a club event in November / December 2007 and if respnse is good enough, we will work towards a 2008 Challenge 4 to cover 10th scale EP Off-Road in replacement for Challenge 3.

WET WEATHER PROGRAM
As long as there is one full run of Heats on Saturday, we shall use that for Sunday's finals.
If we get rained out on Saturday, we would be force to reschedule the finals and have at least 1 run of Heats. Heats & finals duration would be expected to be shortened.

Racing Line
First of all, please accept our heartfelt thanks for all your interests and participation. It would really help in the administration of this event if you all could quickly complete your registration with payment. As for overseas drivers, you can do that after you arrive.
And we understand it was because of your interest and support that there seems to be some misunderstanding with regards to the release of the racing line. Our original announcement on RCTECH.net was for the racing line to be release on Monday 18th June 2007. However, based on feedback, the committee agree that the local hobbyists would need to work and would not be able to practice while our overseas guest would probably be here during the weekdays to practice. Therefore the committee agree to release the racing line on Friday.
Please pardon us as some of you had misinterpreted this "Friday" as 22nd June 2007. The committee intent is to release the racing line on Friday 15th June 2007. However, I need to appeal to all local hobbyist not to go the track on Friday 15th June 2007. The reason being that we are making final minor works to the track. Basically we had the kind service of a volunteer to cut a new AMB pick up coil line on the straight. Your full cooperation would be most appreciated to allow this kind volunteer to work on the track without risking himself with your cars zipping on the straight. The other minor work would be to add a layer of GuardTop (materials courtesy of Mr. Ong Hie Kie) to the concrete corners to increase traction.
I trust that the above is sufficiently clear and your full support and understanding is most appreciated.
Basically the track racing line is the same one as last year. We (the volunteers) couldn't quite balance our full time job, our family time and our volunteer time to plan and execute any major change to the racing line. However, the committee agree that the line has to be different from last year's racing line, so that it would lend sufficient integrity to the fact that we are promoting the event as an Invitational Challenge with a good percentage of participation from our neighbouring countries. Therefore, as some of you would have guess it, we shall keep the racing line, but we will run in the anti-clockwise direction. Therefore, we need to bury a new AMB pick up wire on the other side of the straight - one of those things we forgot when we constructed the track and it has now come back to bite us. ha ha ha . . . So here you are the racing line image:

• Radio impound would start at 8:00am sharp. Radio impound boxes are laid out on the driver stand. Please place them into the appropriate box.
QUALIFYING SYSTEM
• We aim to take the BEST LAP AND TIME from 3 runs of Heats; 5~7 minutes in duration. In order to be prepared for inclement weather disrupting any of the runs, drivers need to be prepared that we may reduce the total number of runs.

o However if we have less than 36 participants, we will have 35/11/12/12 or 34/10/12/12 or 33/10/11/12 or 32/10/10/12 or 31/10/10/11 or 30/10/10/10 or 29/10/10/9 . . . 25/10/10/5 or 24/10/10/4 or 23/11/10/3 or 22/10/12 (no C Main) or 21/10/11 or 20/10/10 . . .etc.

Track side pictures with my $0 phone camera
Yeh Hsia Ching enjoying his Singapore lunch in a foam box - In Taiwan they call this a "Bein Tang" or "Bento" in Japanese.
Team HN from Taiwan - Thanks for the support and participation.
One of our good Thailand friends who flew here to support our event.
Stanley from Indonesia driving a Xray
This is the signature Joe Hwee Grin.
Dave from Racing Lines.
Craig from Australia, showing us his good side, seen here warming up his HotBodies Lightning.
Team HobbyBug.
Ong Chee Yong from KL Malaysia with a beautiful T - Andrew Law, how come I didn't get one ???
Action at the warm up area.
Picture of the pit lane and driver stand. And not forgeting our most important guest who volunteer to be our event Referee - Mr Charlie Siribodhi from Pattaya R/C Power Boat.
This should be Ah Heng.
Mr C. H. Tay for Hobby Paradise with his Team Magic car. He really showed off its magic, if I remember right he climb 4 sub finals in the Christmas Tree.
Tim in back light.
No prizes for guessing who this is, but you sure can go squeeze him for a nice T.
I don't think I need to label him, you all got your own personal labels for this guy.
Chester with his Xray.
Andrew Chin with his Mugen Truck.
Kelvin Ngow from KL Malaysia.
Uncle Sunny here checking on one of the many Hong Nor X1-CRs.
The first time I see Ian Haley so eager to watch a race, he usually only does that for pretty girls.
Yeh Hsia Ching on the driver stand. And most importantly, not to be miss, you can see Malaysia's Danny Teh in full Marshall Action.
Now, who says Singapore got no clear blue skies.
