Major Event at Turf City prior to our Race

We have just been informed that there will be a major event at the Turf City grounds, involving all MOE Schools with turnout of at least 70,000 students. Please stay clear of Turf city on 18th and 19th April 2007.

With this unfortunate addition, we understand that there will not be any time for free practice prior to 20th April 2007. Therefore, we will have control practice on 20th April 2007.

The track will be opened on 20th April 2007 at 11 am and closed at 3 pm. The Control practice schedule has been updated into the main proposed time table, I'll repost the link below. Mr Yeo Seng Leng (aka Ah Leng) has kindly volunteered to be our Control Practice Official. Mr Danny Teh will also be helping out - Right ?

Control Practice Procedure:

1. Drivers of each Heat will be given a total maximum of 15 minutes.
2. Starting from 11 am, Heat 1 will have 15 minutes up till 11:15 am.
3. There will be a 5 minute interval, for us to SHOO off the Heat 1 Drivers.
4. Then from 11:20 am, Heat 2 drivers gets their turn.
5. This goes on till we finish off with Heat C (the last Truck Heat).

No shows for Control Practice:

A. Friday is a normal working day, we understand that some drivers would be working and will not be able to turn up for this control practice, or they may not even plan to do any control practice.
B. There will then be empty slots in each of the Heat.
C. The Control Practice Official (Ah Leng) will act on his full discretion (I trust him so you all better do the same) to allow others who are around to fill these vacant slots.
D. No prior slot booking shall be allowed.
E. Once the Control Practice Heat starts off, anyone in the standby waiting queue will be allowed in ONLY with the approval of the Control Practice Official (Ah Leng).
F. If the Control Practice Official (Ah Leng) says NO, well the answer is NO lah.

Control Practice's Wet Weather Programme:

I. Well this is simple, there isn't ONE.
II. If it rains, the Control Practice Official (Ah Leng) will make the decision to stop or continue. He say STOP then that is it.
III. When the rain stops, the Control Practice Official (Ah Leng) will make the decision to re-open the track at his sole discretion.
IV. If you are in the midst of your control practice and the Control Practice Offical call to STOP, your remaining time will not be replace. There is no other available time to do that.
V. When it is time of your Heat for Control Practice and the Control Practice Official has NOT re-open the track, the chance is thereby forfeited by the weather - this is what they label in most of our Insurance Policies in very fine print as "An Act of God".

Electrical Power Supply: There is none at the track, drivers needs to provide their own to facilitate their own needs.
